Located in the heart of South Beach and directly on the ocean, Delano is the ultimate world-class urban resort and self-contained destination.
It is a cool haven of relaxation in the middle of one of the world’s most vibrant cities. Boasting America’s first indoor/outdoor lobby, the hotel’s public spaces create the feeling of an interwoven “village” with almost no separation between indoors and out.
With its soaring and unforgettably beautiful Lobby, legendary white guest rooms, lushly landscaped orchard, breathtaking pool, renowned Agua Spa and stunning private beach, Delano epitomizes simple chic for a modern world.
Hotel information
Delano’s stunning pool is a complete reinvention of the standard form, and more akin to a “Water Salon,” with its soothing underwater music and separate areas devoted to floating and meditating. Exclusive cabana dining poolside, with a butler, is available.
Conceived as an indoor room moved outdoors, the Orchard is a lushly landscaped lawn filled with whimsical, Starck-designed “vignettes” – including an antique daybed and over sized chessboard – that lend it the feeling of a surreality beautiful stage set and make it the ultimate place for hanging out, daydreaming, and enjoying the warm Miami sun.
Room information
Delano’s 208 guest rooms, suites and lofts – a vision in calming white – are models of modern simplicity that were originally inspired by the simple seaside cottages and "barefoot chic" ethos found throughout the Greek Isles. With their brilliant white wood floors, white cotton slipcovered wing chairs, crisp white bed linens, and accents of pale grey and peach, they are suffused with a feeling of quiet restfulness and true comfort. Many rooms have stunning ocean views and the suites feature extraordinarily luxurious marble bathrooms with enormous marble soaking tubs.
Food & beverage
Delano offers a wide variety of dining choices to suit any mood. The Blue Door restaurant, under the direction of restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow and renowned chef Claude Troisgros, provides refined modern French cuisine with Brazilian and global influences.
The Brasserie, with its hand-etched mirrored bar, soaring mirrored screen, and comfortable living room style furniture, is the perfect spot for a more casual, relaxed meal. The Blue Door Terrace is the ideal place to dine alfresco – during the day while enjoying the warm ocean breeze, or at night under the brilliant stars.
The ultimate eat-in kitchen, Blue Sea is one of Miami's most popular sushi restaurant featuring an extensive and innovative selection of fresh seafood, caviar and sushi in the evening. Located in an alcove off the main Lobby, Blue Sea is the obvious choice for a casual meal served in a cozy setting.
