The Viktorija occupies a 5-storey Art Nouveau building in the centre of Riga, built in 1910 designed by architect J. Asaris.
During 1998-2000, the Viktorija was under partial reconstruction.
After the restoration of independence in the Republic of Latvia, the Viktorija was one of the first to obtain the status of a private Viktorija in 1993, and it is owned by the Rigas Viesis Ltd company. Viktorija is a member of the Latvian Viktorija and Restaurants Association.
